About Sammy
Hi, I’m Sammy, and food has always been at the heart of my story.
After completing my professional chef qualifications, I spent many years catering in private chalets, creating memorable dining experiences for guests from all over the world. Those years shaped my love for thoughtful, well-crafted food and warm, genuine hospitality.
During lockdown, I launched my own catering business, Chalet Girl Catering. What began as a small passion project quickly grew into a thriving fine dining and events business, specialising in bespoke private dining, weddings and celebrations.
Opening The Chalet Eatery has always been a dream of mine. Situated in the heart of the village I grew up in, the space holds deep personal meaning. It was once a café I visited as a child with the grandmother figure in my life. To now bring it back to life as my own eatery feels incredibly special.
At The Chalet Eatery, my goal is simple: to create delicious, feel‑good food that brings people together, in a place filled with warmth and comfort.

Are you dog friendly?
Yes! Well-behaved dogs are very welcome. We also have outdoor seating available during the summer months.
Do you still offer private catering?
Yes, we do. Please get in touch with us for more information and to discuss your requirements.
Do you take walk-ins?
Absolutely. Walk-ins are always welcome. However, our events often book up quickly, so we recommend pre-booking to avoid disappointment.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes! If there’s anything on the menu you’re unsure about, just ask — we’re always happy to adapt dishes where possible to suit your needs.
Is your menu seasonal?
Yes. Our specials change monthly, and our main menu is updated seasonally. We also offer seasonal drinks and occasional discounts, so keep an eye on our socials for the latest updates.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. Physical gift cards are available to purchase in-house. We hope to offer online gift cards very soon.
Is The Chalet Eatery available for private hire?
Yes, our space is available for private hire and is perfect for special occasions, we often host baby showers and intimate celebrations. Catering options are also available.
Is the eatery wheelchair accessible?
Yes, we are fully wheelchair accessible and have an accessible toilet on site.
